Danforth anchors, delta anchors and other models
Our nautical store has many models of boat anchors, our customers prefer danforth anchors and delta anchors for their structure and reliability.
Anchors for boats
The choice of a boat anchor is very important, the Delta anchors line is the favorite for its excellent performance in sandy, muddy or rocky seabed. Its morphological characteristic will ensure a strong grip thanks to the ploughshare they are able to sink into the seabed as much as the traction force exerted by the boat will be. In our boat accessories shop we have Trefoil anchors, equivalent to Bruce anchors, optimal for any type of bottom. Danforth anchors or Hall anchors which, thanks to their articulated flukes structure, offer firm anchoring on sandy and muddy seabed. The models of anchors that you can buy in our shop have many weight formats, choose the anchor for the boat taking into account the bottom that you will most commonly encounter and considering the weight of your boat: in the nautical sector a simple rule of one kilogram is followed weight per meter of length of the boat, for example, if you were to drop your anchor on a muddy seabed, a ten-meter sailboat will have to rely on a 10 kg Trefoil anchor. Although for some varieties of anchors, lower weight models can be installed.
