Windlass controller and chain counters
To control the winch we need some accessories that allow us to operate it and control the descent or ascent of the anchor. For operation, we rely on push-button panels for pedal anchor marked with a black or red color depending on whether you want to drop the anchor or set it off. For those who do not want this installation on the deck, there are also remote controls for anchor winches which, in addition to operating it, will also allow us to see the speed and the meters of chain lowered or set sail. The anchor chain counter, takes care of showing us on a digital display the amount of rope and chain spun at what speed and some have an alarm function when the anchor approaches the hull.
