Solar panels for boats

Although the alternator is able to supply electricity to the batteries, another way to achieve energy independence for a longer period of time is production. With the development of renewable energies, the nautical sector also offers solutions to be installed on board. While sailing at sea, it is possible to exploit the energy produced by the sun as an energy source by using flexible solar panels for boats which, with their small size and fixing by means of a double-sided tape, adapt perfectly to the deck surface without reducing capacity of electricity generation. To complete the photovoltaic system of the boat, many options are available such as connectors for direct connection of the on-board cables and charge controllers. Among the solar panels available there are also versions for installation on t-tops and roll bars characterized by a narrow and long shape. A further alternative for the production of electricity are wind turbines for boats that use the wind to move the blades of which they are composed. Among the accessories supplied, in addition to the charge regulator, there is also a switch that allows you to isolate the generator from the batteries temporarily.
